Qatar World Cup 2022 Coloring Sheets

The World Cup is the defining sports tournament for the World . The tournament has been held since 1930, when the first World Cup was staged in Uruguay. Qatar will host the 2022 World Cup, making it the first Arab country to do so.

The format of the World Cup has changed over time. The tournament originally featured 16 teams and has since expanded to 32. In 2026, it will expand again to 48 teams. In 2030 it will have all the teams, just kidding. The tournament is played every four years, with the only break in between for World War II (understandable).

Qatar was selected as the host nation for the 2022 World Cup on December 2, 2010. The country beat out bids from the United States, Australia, Japan, and South Korea. Qatar will be the first Asian country to host the World Cup. The first World Cup game is scheduled for November 20, 2022 between Qatar and Ecuador. The favorites this year are Brazil, but it's anyone's guess who will be triumphant. Despite Colombia not qualifying, I’m still excited.
